The UAE Golden Visa provides opportunity for investors to establish long-term residency in one of the world’s most dynamic economies.
Golden Visa holders can sponsor their spouse, children, and other family members, including parents, for up to 10 years.
The UAE Golden Visa grants residency for up to 10 years. The extended duration removes the cost and administrative burden of otherwise having to renew employee visas on a regular basis.
Individuals with a UAE Golden Visa can work and live in the UAE without needing a local employer as their sponsor.
There is no restriction on the time a UAE Golden Visa holder can stay outside the UAE. This allows the holder of a UAE Golden Visa to travel freely while maintaining their UAE residency.
To be eligible for a UAE Golden Visa under the Investor category, you must satisfy one of the below requirements:

• Passport copy with a minimum of 6 months validity. • Passport size photograph, as per the UAE ICP specification. • Title deed or bank letter confirming deposit or audit report for company investments. • UAE bank statements (if applicable). • Additional documents may be requested depending on the applicable eligibility criteria.
If you are applying for a UAE Golden Visa as an Investor based on satisfying the fixed deposit investment criteria, you will need to have an existing UAE residence visa. For the other two grounds of eligibility (real estate investment and company investment), an applicant does not need to have an existing UAE residence visa.
It typically takes 15 – 20 business days for those applicants who already have a UAE Residence Visa, or if the grounds of the application don’t require an existing UAE Residence Visa. If an existing residence visa is required and an applicant does not have one, the full process will take approximately 40 business days.
